Description
The Claymore is the official newsletter of the Scottish Deerhound Club of America (SDCA). Published 6 times per year, typical issues include regional reports from, articles on Deerhound health and husbandry, litter announcements, and plenty of photographs of Deerhounds. The Claymore also contains information about future events, such as National and Regional specialties, supported entries, and lure coursing.
The Claymore is mailed to all SDCA members. You can also subscribe to The Claymore without being a member — no application needed. The pages of The Claymore are open to all responsible editorial contributions and advertisements by Club members and interested individuals. While the Claymore will endeavor to publish all contributions, with the constraints of legal considerations and available space, publication in The Claymore does not constitute an endorsement of the content of those contributions by the SDCA Board of Directors or the editorial staff, unless specifically so described.
Camera-ready ads are already designed and ready to go to press — the images and text are placed on the page and look the way you want them to look. All our designer needs to do is place the ad in the publication. There are many software programs, including InDesign and Photoshop, as well as free programs (Canva, Scribus, Lucidpress, Vivadesigner, etc.), that allow you to design ads.
Full-bleed means that the ink goes all the way to the edge of the page. There is no white margin. For more information (than you ever wanted to know) on these terms and how to lay out an ad: https://www.summitprintingpro.com/resources/camera-ready-art.html
